Congrats, and good luck. Where is Guide Dogs of America? I've never heard of that school before.

Thank you! It's in Sylmar, California. I love their program, the training is a month.

I got my first guide from GDA. Everyone was super nice and professional and supportive. I feel like I got a great training experience there. Good luck!
That was way back in 2006, but feel free to drop me a message if there are any GDA questions I may be able to answer for ya.

awesome. you will enjoy it. I have had my dog for 3 years and we are just now getting to that calm sweet spot. It is truly freeing.

I am applying in our school here in Portugal!
Allthough we have an agreement with an american school so it's possible I travel to the US to get mine. Not this year though because I can't leave my job but maybe next year!

wow amazing! Awesome I pray it works out for you! :) I know how you feel I'm getting a guide in June from the seeing eye.
